The Wonder of Travel "Traveling—it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." ― Ibn Battuta, The Travels of Ibn Battutah From my 15-year-old, I have been dreaming of discovering the world. The first best trip of my life was the one to Torremolinos with my parents and my brothers.Seeing the beaches, hearing a new language( Spanish ), a new culture, a new horizon. From then I started to be interested to read about Ibn Battuta who travel 40 countries in the world in the 14 Th Century. His story is summarized by its long title: A Gift to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Traveling. In Spain we went to the beach every morning, eat ice cream. There was a guy who came every day to sell drinks to all tourists. So he will say:" Aye Cerveza, Naranjo, lemon, Agua, coca cola….." The way he was saying that sounded like singing. When the time of swimming came, we enjoyed it. Mediterranean beach is lovely. We did make friends with a basic Spanish even Italians kids. We visited Malaga city, and especially the famous shop called El Corte Inglés. I saw those beautiful dresses of Flamenco. After shopping, we decided to go for lunch. when we came back then we realized that our car was gone, wow. Then a guy came and explains that our car was in a non-parked spot so It was tucked away. Our Spanish was basic, but we had that little booklet each tourist must have.And It helps us. It took us 30 minutes to find the location, to pay the penalty and then to get back to our adventure. I read that Strabo, from third-century B.C, synthesized his travels into a study of geography—"the art of life, that is, of happiness." We headed to Aquapark, wonderful slides, swimming pools. So in the night, we went to what is called Tivoli world. It was kind of State fair but in bigger dimension. This trip was in 1989. It will mark us all. For my part that I think was a reason to immigrate from our Country to new places. I will visit Spain again with my son and my husband in 2014. They just loved it. As the Nomad Freya Stark ( 1893) said:" To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world. You are surrounded by adventure. You have no idea of what is in store for you, but you will, if you are wise and know the art of travel, let yourself go on the stream of the unknown and accept whatever comes in the spirit in which the gods may offer it". She wrote 24 books.That achievement.I hope one day, I will too write a book about all the places I visited, Tanger, Paris, London, New York, Quebec City, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Salmon Arm, Lincoln City, Seattle, Anaheim, Santa Rosa, Redding, Carlsbad. I think freedom of traveling should not be blocked. Pico Iyer said:"We travel, in essence, to become young fools again—to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more"." we carry values and beliefs and news to the places we go, and in many parts of the world, we become walking video screens and living newspapers, the only channels that can take people out of the censored limits of their homelands". We can travel by Car, Ship, Airplane, by Greyhound.You can do it either alone, with family, friends or a travel agency, It still amazed you.And like someone said: ''Away from home, one comes to understand what "home" actually is and what it means. " A long time before, traveling needed reservation by phone either for tickets or hotels.

Now Traveling is getting easier.You have a lot of websites available: booking.com/hotels.com/tripadvisor/.......... Scroll down and choose your best place. When you walk in Paris, near La Seine, or Notre Dame de Paris, you feel ecstatic. When you sit and drink a Cafe au lait, you are one of the characters of Victor Hugo stories. In New York, doing shopping in downtown was my best for life. Near Central Park, you walked and then you take a Pedicab Tour. you may learn that the driver is a student, that his job helped him for getting his monthly cash flow.When you are in New York, don't forget to take nice pictures at the Empire State Building. In Niagara fall you take the boat that drives near the fall. It scared you to death when the driver comes too much nearby them.The splashes of the water are wonderful.

Memories are your safe place when you feel sad or nostalgic. Traveling is having all those images and pictures, moments and Nature in your life.It is better than any TV, or show that you had loved. In traveling, you learned what difference means, every day is a new journey to start. You disconnect from technologies.and you become your own reporter, your own channel.You create your own Network in life. You have become a youth in search of great experiences. You become sometimes like Antoine de Saint-Exupéry " What place would you advise me to visit now? " he asked.
